Are you more expensive than normal in-clinic visits?
We aim to align our prices as close as possible to local clinics. Occasionally, depending upon individual clinic pricing, we may be slightly more expensive, however this is to account for travel and time.
Helpful tip: If you are looking to schedule a home visit, either with us, your local practice or another provider, always ask whether call out fee's are added to the services. A lot of businesses will quote cheap home visit fee's, but they won't include the services, such as vaccinations. At Peninsula Vets, all services are inclusive of home visit fees. What you see is what you get!
Do you offer in-hospital services such as surgery, x-rays and hospitalisation?
Yes, we have a large purpose-built Veterinary Hospital, conveniently located between the North shore and Northern beaches in Terrey Hills. The practice is built to accomodate all forms of surgery, including orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgery, all imaging modalities (ultrasound, x-ray, endoscopy, and so on), and hospitalisation overnight.
And we offer FREE pet transport to and from your home to the hospital.
Do you offer transport to and from your Veterinary Hospital?
Yes, of course, and it's free! The collection time will be arranged prior to, or if urgent, on the day of the procedure, and safe transport will be provided to and from your home. Did we mention it's FREE..
How do I make a booking?
You can make a booking by calling us directly, or filling in an online enquiry, via our contact page. A vet will get back to you as soon as possible. If urgent and you can't get through, don't hesitate to go to your nearest clinic.
Do you take payment online, or at the time of the visit?
At this stage, we don't take online payments. When we visit your home and finish the visit, we will finalise the invoice, and take payment at the time. We take cash or card, and accounts are not currently available.
